      We were so fortunate to have Christy

      You can read our experience below, but no matter the ceremony you want, our experience taught us that (1) you’ll find Christy will put you first in making sure you have the type of ceremony that’s important to you, (2) she’s relatable and after the first phone call you’ll feel like you’ve made the right choice, (3) she’s reliable and proactively communicates
      We were two months out from our January wedding and were caught in a bind. It turns out that our friend, who we wanted to officiate our wedding, could not legally marry us in Virginia. It was also important to us and our parents that the official “I do’s” happen during our ceremony. We reached out to Christy after looking at her reviews, and we feel incredibly fortunate that we did. Christy helped us create a wedding ceremony that allowed our friend (our initial officiant) and her to officiate different parts of the ceremony. Better yet, it all felt seamless. Christy was also extremely dependable. In the days leading up to our wedding, there was an increasing likelihood that it would snow/ice on that day. As we reached out to determine which vendors would still be willing to drive in the snow, Christy was the one vendor who said she would be there no matter what.
      As you can see, we were extremely happy and fortunate that we chose Christy. We highly recommend her!

      We met Christy 1 week before our wedding....she was God-sent for sure! She was funny, professional, so friendly and truly loves being an officiant--we got that vibe from her in the first 15 minutes of meeting her. So grateful she was able to perform our ceremony, she made it MEMORABLE.

      Christy was amazing!!

      We had an intimate wedding with a handfasting at our favorite vacation house. Christy made the whole process very special and catered around our story and our needs. She took the time to get to know us and our relationship, in a simple no-stress fashion. You can tell she really enjoys what she does. Highly recommend!

      Legal Signing Ceremony

      Starting at 85

      For those just wanting to have a quick ceremony with the signing of documents and filing with the courts. (Additional travel fees will apply beyond 10 miles of Ashland, VA). Typically $85-$100.

      Elopement Wedding Services

      Starting at 185

      For those just wanting to say I do - just to the 2 of you!!. Includes all correspondence, travel fees within 20 miles of Hanover County, e.. Allow me to create something special! I can assist with elopement location selection, finding a photographer, etc. Certifying and filing of Marriage license following ceremony. No rehearsal needed. (Additional travel fees will apply beyond 10 miles).

      Micro Wedding Services- "Mini-Monies"

      Starting at 235

      For those intimate or small weddings. Includes 1 meeting and all correspondence, travel fees within 20 miles of Hanover County, e.. Allow me to create something special! I can assist with elopement location selection, finding a photographer, etc. Certifying and filing of Marriage license following ceremony. No rehearsal available. (Additional travel fees will apply beyond 10 miles).

      Wedding Ceremony Services

      Starting at 355

      For wedding ceremonies that include over 25 people. Includes up to 2 meetings (virtual or in-person), all correspondence, *a rehearsal -if available- extra fees may apply), travel fees within Richmond Metro area, a personalized ceremony. Certifying and filing of marriage license following ceremony. (Additional travel fees beyond Richmond Metro area.)  

      Traveling Celebrant Services

      Starting at 425

      I travel all over the Commonwealth of Virginia! Rehearsal time additional and subject to availability/distance. *Overnight accommodations for 1 night may be expected with booking for venues over 2.5hr drive. Includes 2 meetings (virtual) and all correspondence, a personalized ceremony. Certifying and filing of marriage license following ceremony. Pricing varies dependent on Elopement or Wedding Celebration. Rehearsal not included. 

      Wedding Coordination no longer available

      Christy has decided to retire from coordinating weddings effective in Jan. 2025. After 28 dedicated years, she has decided to fully focus on her work as a Marriage Celebrant. She has trusted contacts in the industry that she can refer you to for coordination.
